Josef Hospodka designed glass bowl, made by the Czech glassmaker Chřibská. Dated circa 1950’s - 60’s.

Chřibská glassware is was founded in 1414 and was the oldest glassworks in Europe until its closure in 2007. The works of Hospodka are very distinctive, often using thick clear glass bases, with vibrant greens, yellows and pinks.

This decorative bowl is a beautiful on display as it is, or used as a trinket tray.

As this is a vintage item there are small signs of wear, but it is in great condition with no chips or cracks.
