Vintage Josef Hospodka Free Form Glass Bowl
Vivid blue Josef Hospodka designed glass bowl, made by the Czech glassmaker Chřibská. Dated circa 1950’s - 60’s.
Chřibská glassware was founded in 1414 and was the oldest glassworks in Europe until its closure in 2007. The works of Hospodka are very distinctive, often using thick clear glass bases, with vibrant greens, blues and pinks.
This decorative bowl is a beautiful on display as it is, or used as a trinket tray or tea light holder.
As this is a vintage item there are small signs of wear, with a small chip on the side as shown in the pictures
